TRIALS SEASON

Welcome all Devils fans to another new season with the Instrust Super Cup team, looking forward to an improved showing in 2012. A busy offseason has seen quite a few new faces across both coaching and playing ranks.

Craig Hodges is the new coaching talent for Cup Level. Jon Buchanan has taken over the Fogs Cup coaching this season, and winning coach Gary O'brien, again leads the Colts.

New players include dynamic centre Josefa Davui, lining up along with backrower Brendan Gibb.
Former Cowboys U20 Grand Finalist of 2011, Chris McLean and ex-Titan Sam Martin, both promising backrowers, have joined the Mighty Devils this season.
Trevor Exton also joins the Club along with a host of young Broncos who have all been in the Norths colours at some stage in their careers.
Mitchell Frei and Kurt Baptiste will most likely spend some time at Bishop Park, as their talent continues to develop, as well as former Colts players Danamis Lui and Lachlan Maranta.

Preparations for the new season are progressing well with the following trials being an important part of getting the players ready for Round 1 of the Intrust Super Cup!

TRIAL 1
Saturday 18 Feb at Bishop Park
Norths VS Souths all Grades
Colts 4pm, Fogs Cup 5:15pm, Cup 6:30pm

TRIAL 2
Saturday 25 Feb at Bishop Park
Norths VS Sunshine Coast all Grades
Colts 4pm, Fogs Cup 5:15pm, Cup 6:30pm

Norths Q Cup is also playing a Trial against a Young Broncos Selectio in Toowoomba organised by the Broncos on 28 Jan.
