Norths Devils celebrated the naming of ‘Bill Champion’s Sports Bar’!
Bill’s family and friends travelled from across the state to see the unveiling of the sign, a fitting tribute to a man who has tirelessly helped Norths for decades.
Bill has volunteered his time with several infrastructure projects including the can bar, western seating, canteen seating and umbrellas. Bill played for Norths, scoring 31 tries, stood as Chairman of Norths Juniors, and assisted with coaching duties.
Bill was awarded life membership of Norths in 1978.
